Interviews with former general managers and employees for Le Palace lifestyle magazine
Last week we sat together with Mr Robert Ramakers, who was the General Manager from 1963 to 1981.
Mr Ramakers started his career in Le Palace as a receptionist in 1955, became Front Office Manager, left Brussels to work for another hotel of the chain in Spain and came back again for the position of General Manager.
He told us the truth about the Grace Kelly suite…Also he gave us some names and telephone numbers of people who worked in his team and who are still alive!
Next week we will try to meet with one of the housekeepers who today is 95 years old!All this and more you can read in Le Palace lifestyle magazine which will be published in May.

NOUVEAU TASTE Enjoy, Discover, Taste…
That’s what guests have been doing here for the last 100 years!
The so called ‘Taverne du Palace’ was very popular; not only because of the ideal location at the Place Rogier, but especially because of the weekly organized entertainment shows with international stars performances. Service, interior, music, lighting, decoration and table setting were and still are well thought through.
The Nouveau Taste team of today ensures a perfect service but has left the white gloves and typical white waiter uniforms for a more relaxed and modern look.
‘Innovative and just that little different’ is what we could call the presentation of the different dishes.
The main aim is to offer you a moment of discovery, taste and fun.
