In DECO VERRE we say cheers to 100 years Le Palace!

Written by Tanguy on Friday, January 18th, 2008

Deco Verre is a clear referral to the original ‘Art Déco’ style of which a number of elements are still present in Le Palace. The French word ‘Verre’ (glass) is a give in a bar.

When pronouncing the 2 words together, the name sounds like the French word ‘découvert’ (to discover) which is totally in line with the bar’s philosophy: Enjoy, Discover & Taste! And this festive year even more than ever!Have a Belgian beer, try our own Deco Verre beer and have a seat at the very long counter. Or do you rather fancy relaxing in one of the comfortable Art Deco inspired chairs whilst sipping from a Century Celebration cocktail?

Cocktails and celebrations go hand in hand. Everyone’s hitting anniversary parties in their most festive attire, so why not dress up the drinks to match?

Try the ‘Century Palace Cocktail’ stirred and shaken by the Deco Verre bartenders.

The ingredients are:

  • 3 cl Southern Comfort,
  • 3 cl Liqueur de fraise,
  • 2 cl Gancia,
  • 1,5 cl Liqueur de pèche,
  • 1,5 cl Liqueur de banana.

Served in a chilled cocktail glass.
Decoration: Strawberries and crushed ice.
